Visual communications (as the name suggests) is communication through visuals. Vis. Com. refers to communication across a range of visually based forms and includes but is not limited to graphic design. It encompasses typography, print and publication design, information design, exhibition design, set & stage design, film and video production design and new media, to name but a few.

The coursework at the Career Center emphasizes creativity, innovation and communication and focuses on two-dimensional art and graphic design scenarios.

Each student gets his/her own computer and user account.

The Vis. Com. classroom is located on the first floor of the Hannaford Career Center main campus building in room A117.
